a question about cooker cleaning

Hello there, I have been trying to clean the trays that go on top of the cooker and the burning rings (sorry if they are not the proper names but my vocabulary is a bit limited). Anyway, I have used oven pride and the rings have gone a bit dark greyish. Do you know if I can restore the shine silvery colour back? Would love to find an easy and quick way to do it Hmm? Please help Grin

Hello :)

I just use Jif/Cif on the top and Mr Muscle and a brillo pad inside... It takes ages, it's filthy and I hate the damn job!

Every time I do it I say 'Iwon't leave it that long again'.... but I do!

I'm not sure what you mean by burning rings though Confused

I'm not sure, I have a gas hob and mine is just white ceramic with 4 black disk things and a big grill over it Confused

Like I said I just use Jif cream cleaner on the top. maybe you could just wipe over them with soapy water and see maybe the oven pride stuff has left some residue.

Thank you for your help Lovely, I would just love to get the colour back but I am not sure it is going to happen. I will try your suggestions and see how I get on, cheers Wink
