Whats wrong with my washing machine :(

Our washing machine broke after 4 years so we bought a new one. Ive only had this one 3 months and i think its on its way out already Shock. Its fine going round one way but when it goes to turn round the other way it makes a clicking noise and sounds like its struggling! It doesnt go round at all then starts flashing to tell me somethings wrong.

If i leave it it starts to try fill up and makes a horrible noise! Ive checked the pipes to mke sure they are connected etc but i dont think this is the problem as it fills up at the start of the wash and TBH this wouldnt stop the drum going round would it?

Anyone have any suggestions as i really cant afford a new one or for it to be fixed? TIA

3 months will still be under warranty, contact the seller!

If it is only 3 months old then it should be under some sort of guarantee. dig out proof of purchase/receipt and/or contact the shop for initial advice.

Generally repairs are free for the first year?

Sounds like the pump to me .... it must be warrantied?

I know you have cheked the pipes but have you checked the filter??? There could be a coin or something stuck in the filter. After only 3 months tho it should be under warranty. Check the filter first.

not the filter by what you have described, it is the pump, or the only other vague possibility is that the water supply has been isolated somewhere before the cold water intake
