Getting jobs done school vs holidays?

I seem to delude myself during the school year that I'll really be able to get loads done when the children are off school.Hmm

Here we are again at the end of the holidays and have I decorated the living room? No.

Have I cleared all the weeds and junk from the garden? No.

Is the house all lovely and tidy, organised and clutter free? No.

I am an idiot.

No not at all... It is an impossible mission just to keep on top of the basics here.

Drusilla · 30/08/2010 13:38

Why do you think you wil get more done when kids are off school?!

castille · 30/08/2010 13:40

What on earth makes you think it is easier to cultivate a clean and tidy house and garden when there are children in it 24/7 for weeks on end?Grin

sorry Jake it isn't done on here to advertise your company so blatantly without having paid a fee to do so.

jake give it up I'm going to have to report you.

I don't know why I always think I'll be able to get more done in the holidays.

In my defence I don't work so many hours during school holidays, but I manage to forget that the children will be demanding to be fed and entertained.

I've got the rest of this week. Have managed to decorate dd's room and paint most of the outside rendering. Just the carpet cleaning, tidying, getting ready for back to school/work, spring clean etc etc to go lol!!
