Getting the smell out of clothes!

Hi,

Have been given a bag of lovely clothes for DD from a friend whose children have outgrown them. They have been stored for a while and kind of smell a bit of mothballs or something.

Have washed them twice using bio and once with non-bio and they still have that kind of smell about them! Also used white vinegar as a softener in one of the washes. Would really like to try and get it out, clothes are nice!

Can anyone suggest anything please? TIA

Hang them out on the line. For a couple of days. Water only exacerbates the mothball smell.

will try that (once it stops raining!)

Thanks Smile
