I need to clean, clean, clean, i have had a mould outbreak and everything is grubby!

Where can i buy borax? and the kind of vinegar i need for cleaning, is that white vinegar? and where is best to buy this, a normal supermarket?

And the stuff that absorbs smells, is that sodium bicarbonate or bicarbonate of soda, are these the same thing, and is baking soda something else for baking and not for cleaning?

Thank you Grin

Borax you can buy in Boots. Yes, it's white vinegar that you buy in the shops. You can buy a more concentrated version on line, but you dilute it anyway. Baking soda is the same as bicarb and is what you use. Sometimes you can buy big tubs of it in the chemist which work out cheaper than little tubs from the supermarket. You can also bulk buy online.

Sodium bicarb is exactly the same as bicarb of soda.

It's pretty difficult to find borax in the shops now (in the last year). 'Borax substitute' is not the same.

You can buy it on ebay or mail order though.
