Okay my house ocd clean, I have no rubbish or animal food etc but I still have dozens of stupid house flies zooming about my house! Why?! I cant keep polluting the air with fly spray! I dont understand this its driving me mad constantly wiping up after they have landed! Anyone else have this annoying problem? Thanks!

Me too! They keep landing on DS and freaking him out.

The insect graveyard conservatory doesn't help matters though..

Yes I have it also.
Only in the summer months.
We have a fly swat & also anti fly thingys which I hang around the house which I got from Robery Dyas. They don't work.
Next step is one of those gross fly papers. My Mum has the type that look like flower stickers on her windows & picks off the dead flies at the end of the day (really gross I know!)

Yes I posted a thread about it.

I have Ninja flies. They don't ever die.

I have put one of these in every downstairs room (with 2 in the kitchen as is a large room) this summer and can happily report that there have been hardly any flies at all.

Those Lakeland blocks have really scary active ingrediens though. I have had to resort to gross flypapers this year. Yuck.

Yes Seeker, agree that the trade off is some nasty chemicals but the rooms are well ventilated and am with Sunny and hobgoblin because had really had enough of the flies last year! This flycatcherwww.lakeland.co.uk/F/product/50590 seems 'healthier' but doesn't get many good reviews for effectiveness.
