How to clean a maclaren xt buggy?

I have never posted in good housekeeping before but lurk here all the time and have had some great tips.
I am hoping someone will be able to tell me the best way to clean my maclaren xt, it is covered in suncream and just general grime.
Is it possible / advisable to take to seat off or do i just need to give it a good going over with a brush or something?

Just remove all the covers and stick them in the washing machine, you can even put the hood in there but put it in a pillow case first so that it doesnt go out of shape.

I took the seat cover off for the first time last week as DD was sick all over it. It was stupidly easy and I'd always been a bit scaredy about doing it. You'll never look back! :o

Going to give it a bash tonight, i'll let you know how it goes.
Is it obvious how to take the seat cover off?
