My old Baumatic cooker has been a pain in the arse since I overpaid for it around 6 years ago. It's always made rubbish cakes for example and also puts the most useful burners at the back for safety reasons. Hmm

It has finally died so I can justify getting another.

I need a four ring cooker. I want it to be good because I do loads of cooking all the time. My budget is around £500.

I'd appreciate any help as I don't want to make the mistake of buying and having to put up with a crap cooker again.

Size?Does it have to fit in a space? Do you want gas hob fan oven?

Hi Noddy. Enjoying this fab Brighton summer?

As for size I don't want a big range style one but it doesn't have to fit a space. I just don't want a big cooker taking up what would otherwise be cupboard space. We also have our wood burning Rayburn which goes on throughout the winter and we tend to cook on that too.

Definitely gas hob, but I'm not sure what's best with the oven. The one I had was electric fan and it has always been rubbish.
