I have just bleached behind the toilets and underneath the ubends..then washed the stairs..so i wont be any help.

I just hoovered every single lampshade in my house, so I'm no help either!

I'm even thinking of joining the slatterns thread.....tis a scary thought having just read it!

I cleaned and sorted all the kitchen cupboards on Sunday and since then my enthusiasm has disappeared!

If only someone would take the boys out for an hour or two, then i could just read my book in peace....beats housework..

Would any of you like me to send my toddler around? I can guarantee you won't get any lampshade hoovering done, but she's quite sweet. You will have to spend an inordinate amount of time discussing how sheep say baaaah and when she put her foot in the water she got wet, though.

tortoise, it might be better than listening to flaming Lego Batman on the wii!!! The music is really starting to grate.....

Well my DS was asleep and I plonked myself on the sofa , tilted my head back and there in front of me was a very dusty lampshade, it was staring at me, I had to do something... Hoovered it, looked much better and then I found myself looking at all the others too. Sigh, I am now plonked on the sofa, DS still asleep, so am happily mumsnetting with clean lampshades! :)

Sounds like something I'd do!
