smelly car

We have bought a second hand car and it has a smell in it. It is not unpleasant but i am sure it is making my youngest fell car sick. Does anyone know how to freshen it up? Nothing perfumy please just clean and fresh!

how about leaving all the windows open in the sunshine?

and giving it a good hoover and dust?

Get a large tub of bicarb from the chemist and sprinkle it everywhere then leave it overnight (with the windows open if you can).

Brush or hoover it off the next day and the smell should go.

This worked on some spilt milk which left a hideous smell.

put a bowl of white vinegar in the car overnight. it absorbs smells. i do this when i have been smoking in the car (when i am on my own!) and it works brilliantly. the car smells of vinegar the next day but this goes in a few minutes once the windows are opened.
