Well Done Ruby - I'm sure your cushions will be lovely.

Hello everyone else - I hope weather is better for others than here but I suspect we are all suffering from rain and cold - where did the summer go.

Not doing too bad here.

Done

  • DD bedding changed
  • Cricket whites washed (suspect they won't be needed at the moment)
  • Another load washed and one sorted ready to be done
  • Been practising alphabet with DD. She knows what letter a word starts with but doesn't know what they look like.
  • Set up reward chart with dd
  • Bit of uni work done

To Do

  • Take DD to library
  • Pick up DHs dry cleaning
  • Blockbusters for a film. DH is at his second funeral in a week today and it was for quite a good friend so I'm cooking toad in the hole for tea (DH and DDs fave) and renting a film for a snuggly night
  • Supermarket shopping
  • More washing
  • More Uni work

Right off to make lunch so we can get the jobs done

Hello all
Mad busy slightly stressful day Hmm

DD's show this afternoon lovely Grin
met with DH and dc ...all travell arrangements successful!

Work meeting this morning good and bad....
Consultant and other staff lovely.
Slight glitch in that after agreeing to me working 9-2, 5 days a week, now seems I need to work till 5 on wedsShock
So means having to find after school care for 4 DC, and re-jigging DS2 nursery hours..
Will work out costing is about £50 more a month...but on the positive side I could then have 1 full day off a week...
Consultant has said we could work round it if I really can't do it...so wil spend wk/end pondering possibilities...

now off for wine hehehGrin

Oh no OFM hope it works out for you. One day off a week would be nice maybe if you could manage it.

DD's dance class tomorrow cancelled so no early morning wake up to get there, equally no early morning gym session so i'm behind on exercise again.

Am going to the horse racing tomorrow and then scouting for girls concert afterwards so no housework tomorrow. DD staying over at GPs again, doesn't seem to have spent much time at home this week.

Updated to do list

  • Take DD to library - Done
  • Pick up DHs dry cleaning - Done
  • Blockbusters for a film. DH is at his second funeral in a week today and it was for quite a good friend so I'm cooking toad in the hole for tea (DH and DDs fave) and renting a film for a snuggly night - Done
  • Supermarket shopping - Done
  • More washing - Done
  • More Uni work - Done

Good luck OFM

I have my head in the books all day today. Had a fab day yesterday, races (backed three winners, yippee) then fantastic scouting for girls concert, chinese buffet and a lie-in tomorrow.

Managed an hour off for the gym and managed to do a 6K circuit in 26 minutes. (I thought my lungs were going to explode)

Tomorrow is housework day - I need a serious session to get on top of it.

BB tomorrow
