Can anyone salvage my anolon pan?

I have stupidly let a pan of fruit boil dry and now have burnt nectarine stuck all over the bottom of my lovely anolon pan.I can't use a brillo pad,and have so far tried soaking a dishwasher tablet inside it,scrubbing with a n ylon scourer, and my last resort, leaving it overnight with salt sprinkled liberally over the burnt bits.

Can anyone suggest anything else?I'd be eternally grateful.
Thankyou.Smile

Simmer vinegar in the pan for 15mins, leave overnight, then wash as normal. Simmer, not boil, otherwise the stench is overpowering.

I'm forever burning stuff, but this tends to sort most pans out. If it doesn't work completely then simply repeat it.

BTW dishwasher detergent is Very Bad for anodised pans. So Don't Do It Again!

I remember my Dad boiling up rhubarb leaves in a burnt pan to get it clean....can't remember if it worked, though, but he was usually good at that sort of knowledge.
Also, I don't know what an anodised pan is. Is it that different from a normal pan?

have you tried washing powder? I regularly sometimes have to use fairy washing powder on my mealtime efforts. I leave it overnight and the burnt on bits lift off by morning.
