Smelly Kitchen cupboard - any ideas

I moved into my new house in March and the previous owner had a dog.
The house was foul when we got the keys but has had a thorough clean a few times since.
The kitchen smells funny and I can't seem to get rid, It is one cupboard in particular and perhaps the floor (tile effect laminate)

We are going to tile the floor eventually but in the meantime I need to stop this smell its making me sick!

Any ideas?

oh I forgot to make the point Hmm the smell is like dried dog food hence the dog reference in the OP!

Bleach everything. Then put some cups of coffee in the cupboard or baking soda it absorbed the odors, but coffee smell nicer. (works only with ground coffee not beans or instant)

Have you lift the laminated? sometimes it is underneath which is the problem

Thanks for that, the laminate is under the skirting boards and a bit knackered so I think if we lifted it it wouldn't go back down.

I will give the baking soda and coffee a go though.
