If he also turned it on then my only advice is to run!!!!

Very soon your house will be extremely full of bubbles!

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 05/08/2010 20:08

He has turned it on.

He says it's just a squirt. Then he noticed.

Hmm......

Do you have a syringe, for instance one of the ones that come with Neurofen for children? Your DH could try filling the rinse aid thingy with water then syringing out as much as possible. Then repeat, again and again.

TBH if my DH did this I would be really passive about it, and just say "Oh dear! What do you think you should do about that?" and let him get on with it.

Hold a foam party and pretend you're in Ibiza

That's why I'm sat on the sofa with the laptop.

I cook. I am responsible for the cooker.

DH clears up. The dishwasher is therefore his.

The kitchen it is in is mine () but the dishwasher itself is his.

If it's on then just leave a mop where your DH can see it and stay away from the kitchen.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 05/08/2010 20:13

Oh dear, is it really going to be a mop job?

Yikes.

Cross-post - I see you are a woman after my own heart.

MollieO · 05/08/2010 20:13

Probably a labour saving way of getting the kitchen floor shiny and clean.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 05/08/2010 20:15

Foam party

I'm not sure whether you'll be able to use everything once the dishwasher has finished. The contents might have a thin layer of washing-up liquid on them from the final rinse.

NorbertDentressangle · 05/08/2010 20:22

MrMaryMotherOfCheeses has trouble finding his way out of the kitchen

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 05/08/2010 20:29

ROFL

I am slightly concerned about my kitchen though.

And how long it will take to get rid of the stuff. yy to a syringe, will have to see if we can find one.

I wish I had some constructive advice but I'm afraid I don't -sorry

NoahAndTheWhale · 05/08/2010 20:39

Have you turned the dishwasher off?

Monty100 · 05/08/2010 20:45

Pour loads of water into the rinse thing and try and get the wu liquid out.

Turkey baster?

Meglet · 05/08/2010 20:50

We all have to wait and see what happens at the end of the cycle now don't we.

Is it on a quick wash or do we have to wait for 2 hours?

Meg - they might be watching the soaps lol.

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 05/08/2010 23:12

It has finished.

It was ok, there was a bit of foam in the bottom of the machine but not too much.

Sorry to disappoint

I did have visions of foam oozing out of the door.
