Ours blew up last night!
In light of the recent comments i have been reading about one company making a product and lots of other companies just badging it differently and selling it for more money, I really feel the need to research this and not just rush out and buy the first one I see, tempting though that is

Anyone have any advice or insider information for me please??

TIA

Phillips Whirlpool 6th Sense- had ours over 8 years and it's fab - never once had a problem.

Miele. We had ours for 20 years and it never went wrong until we moved when it just decided to give up!
Really well designed, never a huge hassle to load, unload. I have inherited a bosh and its good but it's not a miele and I don't thnk it cleans as well.

we have a bosch classix - was about £200 ish and works great. only had for a year but so far so good.
only ever use the quick wash program which gets everything shiny clean. this takes about 30 mins. much more eco i think than the normal wash which is just over 2h!
