I always read about hairspray.

SIL was told by the person who came out to repair theirs that it will wear off eventually anyway.

Is it a very expensive sofa? You may be able to claim on the insurance to get it professionally treated?

Hairspray or nail varnish remover.

bumpybecky · 02/08/2010 00:00

baby wipes?

Thanks everyone, I don;t think it will wear off because it is on the side.

What about WD40 or would it stain sofa?

Also look at desolv-it or stain slayer. These are basically the same product and got lily pollen out of my carpet!

Aitch · 02/08/2010 12:48

seriously. i had black biro scribbled all over a cream leather seat, aftershave and some rubbing got it out.

DinahRod · 02/08/2010 13:11
