I think my clothes are being eaten by moths, I keep finding holes in stuff. Can you still buy mothballs or is there anything better out there for this?

Jeremy Vine yesterday had a pest controller in for a chat. Shame you missed it.

If I remember, empty wordrobe and wash everything, dryclean and hottest wash poss for the everyday stuff.

There are lots of spray products out there. Apparently its becoming a problem now due to warm humid weather.

Do not pass any clothing on to anyone or charity shops, clothes with holes need to be binned.

Also, bung woollens into the freezer in a plastic bag. It kills any larvae.

Ive got hanging devices that go over the rail and don't smell at all.

Replace them every six months and they seem to do the trick, plus lavender sachets and a few cedar balls thrown hither and thither.

Yep, I've waged war against the little sods.

Ok thanks all, will try that.
