Anyone use a sodastream for fizzy water?

Thinking of getting one just for carbonating water, as getting loads of bottles of sparkling water obviously not very sustainable.

Does it taste just like bottled sparkling water???

we did this for years, but got fed up of having to change the machine every time they changed the size of the cylinders. The seemed to do this reallyl often. We also had trouble getting the cylinders locally and the website upt their p&p charges up. I wanted to continue but DH had a strop about them 'ripping us off'

the water is fine btw.

good for making tonic for G&Ts too.
