Finish Powerball Tablets - Useless!

Anyone else having trouble with these tabs not dissolving?

I am (yet again) re-washing the contents of my dishwasher because these things are sat on the bottom of the machine doing no cleaning!

Dispenser works, using HOT wash (wouldn't normally but otherwise have no chance). loaded properly, and Liquid tabs work perfectly.

AAargh

This happens to me - I put it down to faulty dishwasher and stopped using it until we get a new one.

might be worth checking your salt thingy is full, especially if you live in a hard water area, and also putting the tab in the cutlery basket.

IME these all in one tabs do need extra salt regardless of claims to the contrary.

darned annoying as a box of tablets is not cheap

Milliways · 28/07/2010 18:44

We don't use extra salt, but we have a plumbed in water softener so the all-in one should be ok.

Hope the washer isn't on it's last legs. Will try a different brand before writing it off.

We had the same problem.

I used one of the dishwasher cleaners - i.e. the cleaners that clean the dishwasher - and it's now running fine.

the only ones that work in our dishwasher are fairy liquitabs or old school liquid.

so whenever i see fairy tabs on offer i stock up...

Acanthus · 30/07/2010 20:27

These are fine for me - I agree wiht those who say check your machine

TattyCatty · 30/07/2010 20:29

Yes, got a box and a half of the bloody things after buying them on special offer. Don't dissolve at all - have never had any problems with own brand tabs and liquitab type things.

zandy · 30/07/2010 20:56

I don't have a problem with them at all.
