TMI question about washing pants!!

I think you can guess where this is headed so apologies in advance....

We have had an unfortunate increase in upset tummies recently and have ended up with some pants that are quite soiled. Normally this isnt a problem because their pants are cheapys and therefore i just bin but unfortunatley we've suffered the problem in ds's favourite posh new boxers and he has begged me not to bin them. So how on earth do I wash them? I know not to wash blood in a hot temp wash or it fixes so what do I do with these?

Thanks and sorry if this has put you off your tea!!!

Do you usually use non bio, if so I would try a soak in bio and then wash with non bio afterwards if you don't like bio in your clothes. It has worked on a few of DD's food stains.

Do you not have any Nappisan? Cos that's the answer, just like it was when he was tiny.

Thanks both.

Haven't got any nappisan- if i get some how do I use it? Soak or just wash with it?

Usually use bio on whites and non bio on colours, its more the temperature I am worrying about. Would like to get the stains out then will hot wash them for my own peace of mind!

I'd soak overnight for serious soilage and then wash with a general darks load in the morning (or on its own if you're feeling squeamish) with another spoonful of Nappisan.

I don't think, erm poo stains get fixed the same way as blood stains do.
I find biotex works a treat, soak them in that of failing that bio powder of some sort, then wash at 60 degrees.
If they are white cotton boxers you can try 90 degrees.

I bet he would freak if he knew you were sharing this!

A soak overnight in very hot water and a generous amount of white vinegar seems to remove ANY stains!! Then wash normally .

Spray on stain remover and very hot wash with a good quality laundry detergent. Vanish and Ariel work for me.
