Dylon Pre Dye...really on hottest cycle?!

I'm about to dye a gorgeous skirt I have but I need to strip the colour first. Bought dylon pre dye and is says to use it on the hottest cycle (90). The skirt I have is 100% cotton and recommended temp to wash it on is 40.... Will it ruin my skirt if I wash it on 90?? Has anyone used the pre dye before?

I would do it on 40 or you risk having a mini skirt.

I was thinking the same...any shrinkage and the skirt will be completely ruined...will just try it at 40 and see how much it strips the colour. Thanks!
