I have been using the dyson DC25 animal for the past year and I am just sick and tired of having to sweep after I have vacced it is rubbish

The Dyson is now on ebay and I am after buying a fairly cheapish (under £60) replacement

I think a cylinder would be better as opposed to an upright as it would be easier to get into all the nooks and crannies......before the upright we did hav a Dyson cylinder and I was unimpressed with that too

Please will someone recommend me a good vac, only requirements are that it's under £60, it's fairly compact, good for pet hair

After years of pain I'm sorry to tell you I don't think you can get a good vac for underr £60. I'm now saving up for a Sebo....

oh no

I refuse to believe that anything can be as bad as what I've got now though

No recommendations, but it's soooo refreshing to find someone who hates Dysons as much as I do !

We're stuck with one cos it's all my dh will buy - he seems to think they're fantastic, I think they are over-engineered shite, but there you go .

Hoping mine will blow up, but they seem to last forever!
