I did this earlier in the week, had carpets cleaned. No result. Carpet man said there was nothing he could do about the Barbie pink splodge in the middle of my cream carpet..

Have you tried turpentine or meths? Try on an inconspicuous place. Thing is, carpet is already damaged, so whatever you try can't really make it worse.
