DH kindly did the washing today and accidentally included my pashmina (which he bought me). It is now a very pretty piece of felt. Suggestions on what to do with it? Can it be reversed ? (Can't imagine how!)

Thank you

Buy a new one.

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 14/07/2010 19:10

No it is buggered.

Which may be a suitable punishment for dh.

minimammoth · 14/07/2010 19:12

make it into a bikini or a bag

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 14/07/2010 19:12

No, it can't be saved. I did that to a cashmere cardigan I had once, and had to consign it to the bin .

Is your dh suitably ashamed of himself?

MaryMungo · 14/07/2010 19:17

Only thing for it, I'm afraid....

mamas12 · 14/07/2010 19:21

Well I would make your dh a pair of underpants out of it and then send him to get a replacement.

MaryMungo · 14/07/2010 19:35

elf slippers?

HonestyBox · 14/07/2010 22:03

mmm cashmere felt. I like the bag suggestion. It is making me think about what I could make out of my favorite, now sadly shrunken, jumper which has been in a bag for 2 years.

You must dry clean the pashminas in future.

I did this to a cashmere and alpaca cardi mil knitted for dd

luckily it was navy blue so came in handy for newborn ds...
