Pack of new white ankle socks....all filthy underneath....my normal non-bio hasn't made the slightest difference. Would rather not buy a 'product'...
Help please!

MrsBadger · 13/07/2010 20:39

yes napisan
or vanish stick to pre-treat

but if it's only the soles no-one but you will ever see them...

duckyfuzz · 13/07/2010 20:48

My DTs' socks look like they haven't worn their shoes I soak them in bio first then wash in non bio, but will give napisan a go too!

My husband's aunt said soluble asprin, but I haven't tried it yet..

CheeryCherry · 14/07/2010 19:38

May have to buy some napisan then, left them in diluted bleach all day today - not the slightest bit different! Surely you would need a lot of asprin La Bella?
Thanks all! (what a boooooring thread!)

I would recommend napisan- gets rid of even the most revolting baby food stains from whites and leaves them looking as good as new

Definitely napisan. If you have an old pan then put them in the pan with napisan (or ordinary washing powder) and boil them up. Poke them every now and them with the end of a wooden spoon. Doesn't take long, 10 minutes or so.

I did some white flannels this week and they were positevely glowing.

I found it enormously satisfying.

Is that weird?
