Kitchen surface protectors (hot mats) - where can I get them?

I've had a request from sil who lives abroad to get her some hot mats which are supposed to protect kitchen counters. Never heard of them before but I gather they're heat resistant (silicone?) mats that are good for putting hot pots on. Googling was not very helpful for me (came up with some coaster sized ones on ebay) - does anyone know who does these?

That's helpful MrsB - I note though that they show a discount from £5.00 to £4.99!
