Should I get a cleaner?

I've been debating for a while and think it's probably time to get a cleaner a few hours a fortnight. I only live in a one bed room flat, but work really long hours as a nurse and am fed up of feeling like all I am doing on my days off is housework!

So a few questions....

How much should I expect to pay per hour?

What are the main jobs you think I should ask them to do - obviously i'm not adverse at doing any housework - just want someone to ease the load a little bit!

Does anyone know of a reliable cleaner in central/north west London?
I feel a bit anxious about someone I don't know being in the house so would love a reliable recommendation!

Thanks in advance.

Yea definately get cleaner. £6 roughly
maybe more cos your in London.

Mopping, sweeping, hoovering, dusting. Mine does ironing

Write a list of all that needs doing and work from
there.

Mine tackles everyday cleaning so in theory I'm free to tackle big extraordinary cleaning like oven. She comes once a week for 3hrs. Definately worth every penny. I wish she could come twice a week but heyho.

Do it!! If you can spare the money for a few hours cleaning do it!
