dried eggshell paint on clothing....

I was too lazy to change when painting my patio chairs with a fetching shade of F&B exterior eggshell, and now have dried paint on my favourite (read "still fits") denim skirt.

I have tried scraping with a sharp knife, but not effective.

Is there any hope?

If its emulsion, soak it in warm water, if its gloss dab it very gently with turpentine.
