hello there, im really hoping someone can shed a light into my problem...

my cleaner is sick and they sent someone else that managed, i dont know how, put drips everywhere in my small bathroom floor that is made of pretty black slates.

it looks to me that her gloves were wet and dripping cleaning products that later on dried in "dull looking" spots.

i have tried giving it a good clean with my mop and i even used a stone flooring cleaning product with no luck.

has anyone experienced it? im thinking of having a go with bicarbonate of soda and water. arrrrrrrrrrrgh, she gave me more work than peace of mind!

is the floor sealed?

probably as its a bathroom... if not (as in before new floor was sealed i dropped a WHOLE tub of cream on a slate floor (sealer due in 2 days later) and that mark will be there for eternity!!!

hi nannyl, i think it is sealed as it looks slightly shiny? or am i mistaken? how could i tell?

oh poor you!!!!

i think slightly shiney = sealed...

ours went from chalky (unsealed) to clightly shiney (sealed)

But if it's sealed why was it so easy to get dull spots from cleaning products I wonder?
