DD just wee'd on a feather cushion - what do I do with it?

Have taken off the cover and washed it but is there anything I can do with the cushion itself? Or just leave it outside to dry then douse it with aromatherapy oil and hope our house doesn't smell of wee? Or bin it?

Thanks ladies

Stick it in the machine with clothes wash butNO conditioner. Gentle cycle then tumble dry. It works for duvets-it'll be fine.

Oh, full spin before tumble will help.

you can wash it in the machine.

just make sure you dry it thoroughly. i washed my feather cushions recently and hung them out all day then gave them a tumble to make sure they were properly dry. they came up really well.

Yes, you can wash feathers, I was surprised when I bought my duckfeather and down pillows last year and the washing instructions said it can go in the machine, apparently tumble drying is the best way to get them dry and fluff them up to original shape.
