Where to move in Cheshire

Hi,
I might start looking to move into Cheshire into a nice/ modern town (a little bit 'upmarket' but not too expensive) Alderley Edge, Knutsford and Prestbury are a bit too expensive.
Are they any towns which are similar (They don't have to be in Cheshire but I want somewhere close) Budget 600k maybe not too sure yet.
Not necessary but maybe it could be close to Liverpool and Manchester but I don't really mind.

Agree re Nantwich. My sister lives there and it's lovely plus the town centre has some great independent shops
