Hi
wondering if anyone had any information to help me
I received a section 21 as the landlord wants to sell the property, my eviction date was last week Monday however I can not find any private property’s that accept dss it is not easy. The council are only helping me find another suitable affording private accommodation and I cannot join the housing register as I haven’t lived in the borough 3/5 years and I don’t have a local connection that has lived in the borough for 5 years. If I get a bailiff letter would the council then put me in emergency accommodation??? Someone help me as it is worrying me if I don’t find somewhere in time
thank you

Can you apply to the borough where you work? Would your work location qualify as a local connection?
