We have a 2 bedroom flat in Henfield. It has a small patio garden, a large living room, one double bedroom and one single bedroom (cute room with eaves). GSH, double glazing. Friendly neighbourhood, off road parking, next to fields and countryside. Henfield has excellent local amenities, shops, transport (with easy links to Brighton), library, leisure centre. The flat comes with the Right to Buy.
We really need to swap to Billingshurst, where DS is at school. At the moment he has a 1.5 hour bus journey each way, or I have to take him which means a 2 hour commute each day for me. It is exhausting for both of us.
Moving to Billingshurst (or near to) would mean DS can walk to school and I would be able to work longer hours, instead of having to pick him up.
