Its all relatives, with Dear/ Darling/Dearest in front. So DS , Darling Son etc.
The one that caught me out was STBExH , which I assumed was stupid bastard ex husband, but turned out to be soon to be ex husband. The former often applies though.
NB the H never refers to hubby, an almost unanimously hated word on MNXmas Grin
Don’t know about the fertility ones though, I think DPO is days part ovulation.
HTH..,

There's a whole list of the most-used ones here: www.mumsnet.com/info/acronyms

Many of them are used on lots of different sites across the internet (eg DH, SiL etc) but some are MN-specific.

exexpat · 27/12/2019 17:03

You might find the whole 'getting started' section useful: www.mumsnet.com/info/getting-started

exexpat · 27/12/2019 17:04

Isn't TSSDNCOP the 'secret service' not state? I think it comes from The West Wing TV series.

Spartonian · 27/12/2019 17:09

ODFOD and FOTTFSOFAWYGTFOSM are my favourites

exexpat · 27/12/2019 17:12

Spartonian - for some reason those two don't seem to be in the official list. Maybe you should suggest an update?

stepka · 27/12/2019 18:28

Thank all of you who took the time to help
HNY!

@exexpat yes! I’m was wondering if I’d got it right, but it did sound good!
