@MsAwesomeDragon his school isn't great his teacher hasn't taught him this as she cant control the class.

All his maths learning is done online and never marked she says she tracks progress but no actual marking and constructive feedback given.

He also comes home having to finish uncompleted lessons at home.

I'm talking to the head about the issues.

Oh. In that case, no, asking the teacher isn't a great plan.

So step by step.

Angle for men 130.
Angle for women 360 - 130 =230
Angle for "more women than men" = 100.

So 100/360 of the total voters = 2800

To work out total voters do
2800/100 X 360

Has he understood from the explanations on here?

Was there a "lesson" available to go with the homework? There often is with online packages if you know where to look.

I'd also recommend Corbett maths website for good videos to explain topics, especially if his teacher isn't managing to teach the skills so your ds can understand. It's not ideal, but it's a stop gap until the issues with his maths education are sorted out.

360 in a circle

130 degrees men

230 degrees women

difference 100 degrees which = 2800 people

if 100 degrees = 2800 then divide both by 100 so 1 degree = 28 people

28 multiplied by 360 degrees = 10080 people total
