I really need to find something online to help ds with his Maths. He is 7, would be in Y2 at school.

It is so not his strong point, and I have always found he has more enthusiasm for it when doing it online (he has done education city, but we have finished this 'year' of the program and the Y3 work is beyond him for maths).

Any recommendations for Maths sites? I keep looking on the net, but thought I would ask for any words of wisdom from you lot

Another Maths Whizz fan here, though as DS is older we alternate with Conquer.

I've just recieved the copy of 'Games For Reading' that was recommended on here, or some other list. It's by Peggy Kaye. Anyway, it is truly fantastic and she does one called 'games for maths' too. I'm going to get it, and games for writing and games for learning, the other ones she's written.

Sorry, just realised you said online!

Have you tried the BBC Bitesize website?

stressedHEmum · 13/01/2010 10:46

Funbrain, Maths centre, Math Playground, Grid Clib, Bbc, Numbernut, Maths is fun, Primary resources, Woodlands Junior school, Scholastic Math hunts, AAA Maths, Cool Math, Gamequarium, Maths zone.

There are a ton more, but these are the ones that I have off the top of my head. My kids particularly like Funbrain, Cool Math, Math hunts and grid club, but all the sites are good. Hope these help a bit.

Thanks all. I will have a trawl through all those with ds in the morning and see which one he prefers.
