I like the bit about Home Schooling 'also becoming popular' in America, as if this is something they've just cottoned on to, as if (in some places anyway) it's not almost as mainstream there now as going to school.

My friend has just moved back to Georgia, and she says one of the best things about being there is that nobody bats an eyelid if you tell them you're home educating.

I like the idea that Canada have...they fund Home Educators. If you stick to the NC you get a higher amount and less (but at least some money) if you go "autonomous". It still amazes me that there are still people in the UK who don't even know that it's a legal option
