Woodcraft Folk around SE London?

I'm interested in people's opinions about Woodcraft Folk (for my 6.5 yr old). She loves crafty/making things, outside stuff etc, but is quite shy, so it takes her a while to make friends.

Also: how much does it cost?

Also! I'm aware the Woodcraft Folk is non-religious, which is fine, as long as they are fine with us being Catholic, if that makes sense! Anyone with any experience of that - thoughts welcome.

We live in Peckham; their website says they have groups in Lambeth and Beckenham/Bromley. Any significant differences? Lambeth would be nearer us, but I'm thinking that Beckenham might have more access to outside space, being further from the centre of town... But that's just my assumption.

Thanks!

they have a ws , I guess you could find a grup that way.
My dcs went to our local group (we are 100s of miles away)- like most groups, it varied with who was leading it over the years. But I came across some very longstanding groups where parents had been involved as children and 'grew up' with the folk...they are VERY democratic and child centred - to a fault IME as children could very easily stay in their comfort zones and not be challenged enough IYSWIM- however, on the whole a laudable organization
