Does anyone know this book? It is about a really creepy looking ghost trying to find a home to haunt.

A little creepy for a 4 year old?
'why is he blue?' - because he is cold
'why are people chasing him out?' - that's not his house
'why is he floating' - because he swallowed helium

I don't know the book, but i was occasionally not wild about some of what my eldest brought home. One book I remember talking to the teacher because she was really upset by it (I can't remember for the life of me what it was now). The school were quite grateful I told them because they don't necessarily study every book in massive detail and think about what might upset a 4 year old in the same way a parent would. I'd mention it if you feel it's not quite right for your child.

Don't worry about posting in home ed. Quite a few of us have had kids at school, and I'm fairly sure lots of us read books!

Yeah, IIRC Ginn ones can be a bit bizarre...
