Hello Pinkystinky, YES I'm in Cambs! (Near to St Ives/Huntingdon) I have a 4.5 yr old ds1 and a 1.5 yr old ds2, so we're just starting out too.
There is an organisation called CHEF - Cambridgeshire Home Educating Families - who organise a lot in Cambridge itself and a bit further afield. There are certainly quite a lot of us about here. There also seems to be a fair bit happening in Peterborough.
Please feel free to CAT me (I think I am set up for it I will now check!)

Bananabrain - I have four children aged 11,9,6, and youngest is 2!
Didnt think there would be anybody near me home ed'g , you never hear of any one !
