Did you home school your child?

Hello
I am writing a book about children’s experiences at school and would appreciate feedback if you have home schooled your son/daughter.
Why did you choose this option?
At what stage of their education did you make this choice?
Has it been successful academically?
Has it been successful socially and emotionally?
What is your son/daughter doing now in terms of their education/career?
Case studies included will use pseudonyms.
Thank you in advance!

I’m just going to throw it out there now. The term is Home Educated, the legal definition is Elective Home Education. It matters, for the large part Home Edders do not replicate school at home and nor are we legally obliged to. Using the term Home School reinforces the idea that learning can only be achieved through books whilst sat at a desk. Please make sure you use the correct legal definition. Home School is what those who attend school suffered during lock down it is not Home Education. (Home School is also very much the US terminology).

I apologise if I have offended anyone by my casual terminology. I am aware of the terminology but this is not a legal document or discussion.
Any positive contributions will be gratefully received.
With thanks and best wishes.
