DDis 16 and has done a term of college. She is autistic and has depression and social anxiety. She doesn’t feel able to face college any more - too much sensory overload and journey too long.
Does anyone have experience of home ed for A Level or a hybrid of home ed and online college? She would be doing History, Politics and Philosophy.

My daughter is only 12 but with similar issues - ASD, social anxiety, and depression. We've been doing home ed for a year. I don't regret it although the learning has looked nothing like I imagined; at least she is beginning to become herself again. Definitely the right move for her mental health.
Obviously, I can't comment on A levels etc but through some local home ed groups I've met a number of mums out there with teenage kids doing a hybrid of college and home ed, but they all connect on Facebook.
