Home educating 11 year old daughter

Hello,
I am a mum of an 11 year old daughter, last week we deregistered her from year 6 mainstream school as she was so unhappy. My daughter has cognitive delay & an EHCP although the school tried really hard she was being left behind socially & academically. We decided as a family that we would remove her & home educate since she has been at home she is smiling again & willing to learn which is amazing. Are there any families out there who live in the Worthing area who are home educating who would like to meet up to socialise. It's very daunting making this decision & we didn't make the decision over night now we have done it are looking to make new friends & start our home ed journey.

If DD has an EHCP why not pursue EOTAS instead?
