she is 3.5 with SN and we are sick and tired of fighting the lea, who have now turned her down for an asessment.

the last straw was today, she has mild CP and her bladder/bowels are affected and the nursery told us that we must think of a way forward, so we,ve had enough.

i home edded my son for 2 years when the school he was in was totally unsympathetic to his AS and he had a breakdown so i know i can do it ok with dd,

cos she,s in nursery do i still need to deregister her or do i just tell them-does anyone know?

thanks

No deregistering, she's still under the legal age. Just say "buh-bye!" to the nursery

And have a wonderful wonderful time!

Good for you, jenk.

im feeling very positive and happy this morning, i have to face the witches this afternoon and tell them, so i dont even have to do a deregister letter-thats great!!!!!!

the only reason they will not be happy is cos they will lose their early years funding for her well diddums.

dd is going to be delighted when we tell her!!!!!

sounds like this is the best decision for you and DD. Good luck and gather your strength again for round 2 when she is due to start school.

Hope you all have a great day.

Just to wish you all the best! I was homeschooled when I was a child and it was wonderful. I'm sure you will really enjoy doing it yourself and I know it will be a good experience for your daughter. Just have to stay positive and don't let anyone dampen things for you! x
