Home Educating Key Stage 3 in South East London

I am really looking into home schooling my almost 12 year old. She is currently in Year 7. I am looking for information on any groups, meetups etc for the key stage 3 age group. Both advice for myself and groups she could go to. We are unlikely to be able to afford 'classes' so groups that get together for free would be better. I am a bit unsure where to start. A lot of what I read online is aimed at primary age.
Thank You

I home educate my 12 year old son (in Devon). He never started secondary school as I wasn't happy with local availability, and I also HE his younger sister. We do myonlineschooling for most lessons, and I top up with extra subjects. There are plenty of free resources on the internet such as the BBC, youtube, TES (amazing!), and you can buy KS3 texts on ebay...second hand they are peanuts. I found local groups and events using facebook, and searching for networks. Eventbrite lists child events too. Good luck!

The best way to find local people is Facebook. Just search for Home Ed (then try different options like your borough, general area, or as you say South East London) and you should find results and social groups.
