What to use to teach, alongside IXL for questions

My dd10 and ds8 have just started trying out IXL and so far we think it's great.

What do people recommend to use as a teaching resource alongside IXL (as it is just questions really), that also works to the curriculum?

I love IXL!

DD, age 12, year 8 is going to be looking at Macbeth, she is going to be doing a biology project, where I draw around her and she will have to research the size of the organs in a 12 year old, draw them and put them in her body in the correct place.

While maths and English and non-negotiable to me, other things can be done to suit her interests.

She is doing a PPP on Vietnam as a YouTuber she follows recently did a Vlog on it and it caught her interest.

Oh and to supplement IXL, we use BBC Bitesize, to tell us how to answer the questions.
