Deregistering DD this Friday - URGENT question!

I have decided to just go for it and home ed my DD, despite having some small worries about how we will cope financially.

I want to take the deregistration letter into school today when I go to pick her up, but her last day in school will be Friday.

I am also going to take in a letter for her class teacher to let her know what's going on and to ask if she can have all my DD's things ready to be collected after school on Friday.

My urgent question is: Should I also be asking the teacher for a report? The school reports aren't due until the end of the summer term, but I wasn't sure if it was the norm to ask for one or not.

I am a teacher, but I certianly wouldn't have even started writing them at this stage. so I would say - no, but come for a chat about where she is.

I wouldn't have thought so, unless you particularly want one.

OK, well I suppose I don't really need a report, I just wasn't sure if I was supposed to get one or not.

We had a parent's evening about a month ago so I'm pretty sure we covered everything then with regards to how she's doing.
