So what exactly is your educational philosophy and how did you put it into words?

There are examples to look at in several places - have a look on;

all have pages with 'Educational Philosophies' that can give you some ideas of what to write.

It is certainly how I started off writing mine.
Once it is written we have only had to update it slightly each year.

My educational philosophy now is to play with them and read to them a lot until they learn to read, then leave them alone unless asked for help

My ed phil as it used to be is on the sites posted in this thread, it is the one that starts

"As our approach to M.'s education is largely opportunity based, child centred and flexible, it is not possible to submit a timetable, or to specify in advance the activities we will be undertaking."
