Yes although I've not been yet it is supposed to be very good! It is at Dog Kennel Hill, it has an adventure playground and a philosophy group for the little ones. I know some people who go.
I go regularly to a group in Lewisham which is a big group with a very diverse group of people! The children tend to be younger 0-10 but some teenagers come along.
Not being comfortable with big groups my youngest dd and I find it a bit overwhelming but I've made some fantastic friends though and they also have a ballet and tap class after which my dd loves!

I also go to a fortnightly group in Bromley which is smaller but I'm much more comfortable there, it's soo relaxed, the children tend to be older and because we have 4 hours we can do some great craft stuff, batik, tie dye etc. (no I'm not a hippy no offence to hippies!!)

I have also started to meet some HE'rs who don't go to groups through others. We belong to South London Home Educators yahoo group, a central london and west london list and a Kent based group who organise stacks of days out and activities!

PHEW!
And people worry about SOCIALISATION!!!!

How old are your dc's?
And where are you?

oooh, hello!

my dd is only 15months, so also a long way to go before i really need to think about h.e., but it's good to know there are active groups. i'm in chislehurst, so the bromley group would be our local one.

WTSS - yahoo groups are easy to join. just go to the yahoo groups home page, search for the one you want, click on it to read about it and it will tell you how to submit a quick email to join.

i'll keep my eye on what's going on too, for later
