Anyone home schooling in Birmingham?

Hi.
We're trying the make the decision about whether to start home schooling our 6 YO and 9 YO.
The websites I've tried don't seem to have active Birmingham branches. Does anyone know of any organisations in this area where we could meet HE families?
Many thanks in advance.

There are loads of people (we home educate our 9 year old son in south Birmingham). Try joining the Home Educators Local Magazine (West Mids) group on Facebook. There's tons of stuff going on.

Hi. We've just made the decision to HE. Kids are 4 and 1. The HELM group is great, as is Home Education: Birmingham on Facebook.

Thank you both for your replies.

We're also South Birmingham, crazy. So pleased to hear that there's lots going on as (like most people probably) my main concern is whether we'd be able to organise the social elements.

As I suspected, my problem is perhaps that I'm not on Facebook. I may have to give in and join....

Hi, I was just wondering how you ladies are getting on? We're in south Birmingham and home ed with my eight year old son and give year old daughter. There are loads of groups and activities going on, so hopefully you've found all that :)
